I know I've been MIA for the past couple months, but I've been pulling 40 hour work weeks and I'm part time hmmm. . . My grandma passed away on Saturday and the service was Tuesday, so I've been taking it day by day. It's just so sad. In other news, school starts Wednesday and I'm off to Vegas on the 25th-28th!!! I hope everyone is doing well . . . especially you Rosie :)

I'm having a bit of a hair dilemma. I already know I'm way overdue for a haircut, but that's not the problem. I'm no longer going to my old salon, but it'll be a new one reccomended by my best friend. I think I want my hair cut and styled like Amerie's. The picture on her album. The problem is I haven't had bangs for a longgggg ass time. Not full on bangs, but ones I can style to the side. I also want to highlight my hair. I've never had it colored, highlighted, or even bleached. The only thing I've ever done is use the store coloring in the little packets. Does anyone have any advice or what color I should highlight it? Cause I was thinking some carmel maybe? But I want something new that will compliment my dark hair now. I have about a month to decide LOL. Like this but not a FRO on top hahaha. But dark hair is soo HOT--TA. But it's time.

This week has been so damn long. I didn't think it'd ever end. I'm happy to say that I got the job at the law firm. I have to come in on Monday to go over my salary and fill out some paper work. I left the interview feeling kinda discouraged because the boss was kinda rude to me at the end. He didn't even shake my hand. But of course I remained respectful. I felt like he brushed me off the minute he found out I didn't have experience in an office environment. Didn't you have my resume for a week? So wouldn't you know this? The firm was very professional looking, 2 stories with multiple offices on each floor. At first I thought I was only going to interview with one person, but it turned out there was two people. I was nervous, but I figured this will prepare me for future interviews in case I didn't score this job. So, as I'm answering one of the questions the boss walks in while I'm in the middle of the sentence interrupts me and kinda introduces himself under his breath. I thought to myself are you serious this guy is really trying to not only interrupt me, but also come in late??? I think that's pretty unprofessional because it gave me the impression that the interview wasn't as important. From talking to him I can tell he's a difficult person to work with. He said he didn't tolerant laziness (I wouldn't apply if my intention was to slack off) and that he likes things done one way. He especially doesn't like anyone talking back to him. I normally don't talk back to management unless it interferes with the way I do my job. I just don't want anyone to think they can boss me around since I'm the new girl, but I'll have to earn my respect by working hard!! The supervisor who was present during the interview walked me down and we talked for about 10 minutes. She was just telling me I did a great job and most people break under pressure especially when their around him. I think that stress is apart of every job and if you can't handle it, then how will you ever work anywhere? I mean I go to school full time to me that's stressful enough. But overall, I'm happy that I got the job and now I can go get my hair and nails done hahaha.

So I'm driving to school this morning and my cell phone rings I'm thinking who the hell is calling me right now. Three people ran through my mind. I thought it was Julie having a bad day at work, M calling to say hi, or Eileen asking me where the hell I'm at haha. But it was the law firm I had applied for last week calling me to schedule an interview. At first I was like are you sure you got the right number LOL. My interview is scheduled for Thursday, but I have a class right before it, so I think I might not go :/ Anyways, it would be part time, which is fine because I'm taking 2 classes this summer and I think it would work out well since it's right by my school. Damn I'm so nervous and I need to pick something to wear.

Nothing ever really pisses me off because I'm such a patient and NON violent person, but today I was about to sock this bitch in the hallway at school. Some of you remember reading my entry about group projects. Well since then we've completed our presentation and today the rough draft to our term paper was due. We got a lot of feedback from our professor and I wanted to make sure we could pull the A on our paper, so I wanted to submit the rough draft. Anyways, Sandra emailed her part to me days before, Amy was gonna send hers at 2 AM, I had already finished mine last night, BITCH was SUPPOSE to send hers to me by 9:45 AM cause that's the normal time I leave for class. I woke up checked my emails and Amy's part was there, but the other girls wasn't. So, I'm like fuck this I'm printing ours and turning it in with a note. I call this bitch on the way to school and ask her about it. She said she just sent it. I'm like okay good for you print it then. So, I asked her to meet me in front of our class to give me her part. She makes me wait like 20 minutes AND when she gets there hands me her part, which consisted of 2 pages. ARE YOU FUCKEN SERIOUS? You mean to tell me you couldn't do this last night? I wrote 4 pages in an hour, so what the hell was your excuse? Then she goes on about what we've been doing in class. Excuse me? You never go to class and you wanted me to help you out? I don't think so. I started walking off when she was still talking to me, but I didn't care. I haven't really cared about what anyone thinks of me recently because these people just rub me the wrong way on the real. Then I was doing my program tonight and found out half my work was on the school's server. I have to go to school to pull the work off, but then I'll probably end up staying the whole day to study for my midterm on Tuesday. I'm so freaking stressed out and TIRED. But at least I'll be going to the bar, so I'll just let my frustrations out there. Rosie, I hope you feel better girl because your such a sweetheart. Aside from that bullshit, M told me he misses me like crazy and I got him twisted all over me. He's too cute sometimes and I wish he was here :)

I swear I thought Friday would NEVER come. I finally finished my program, which took a damn minute. Our professor says the homework is suppose to only take an hour, but it takes me several hours. Why? Because I'm surfing the net, chatting on AIM, AND checking up on folks journals. LOL. Bad me. In my last post I was complaining about my group members not doing their work. Well, the meeting we had before our presentation the next day went well. But come presentation day it showed who did their work and who didn't. He asked us to stay 10 minutes after class because he wanted to give us feedback. Our overall grade was a B+. It's not the final grade, but he gave us that because of our effort and such. He said that if we fix the things in our presentation that he wanted and add them in the paper he will give us a new grade. How sweet :). About to go workout before the bar tonight yeahhhhhh boyyyy! Have a good weekend everyone.

Okay wow I got no sleep whatsoever. I stayed up until 3:30 AM just to finish our powerpoint, so we can show our professor today. And was suppose to get up at 8 AM, but what was the point because I never even closed my damn eyes. While in the process of finishing our slides I discovered in my inbox an email that went something like this:

I got your email and sorry I haven't gotten back to you. Just do my slides very vague and I'll fill in the information during our presentation.

Uhhhh..no bitch. First off, you have some nerve asking me to DO your slides. I said I would organize them, but I wasn't aware I had to do everyone's slack work. You'll write out the presentation in detail just so you can follow the rest of the format because I'll be damn if I'll do YOUR bitch work AND get a bad grade cause you wanted your slides VAGUE. Like wtf are people thinking these days? College isn't another excuse to slack off. If it were that easy, then I think I would of had my degree when I was 12 years old yo. It should be an interesting day running on no sleep.

Going to the gym is one of the greatest things. It's just something I haven't realized yet. I remember when I use to LOVE working out. I would run miles on the tread, but I started getting busier and eventually stopped going. We were suppose to go to Mission Ale House, but decided we were too tired to get ready, which is RARE. I ended up going to the gym instead and I'm feeling pretty damn good right now. Tomorrow I'm working out again and then I have a basketball game.

Awwwwww isn't that just adorable. I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter.

Friday Movie night with my chicas. We watched Alfie starring Jude Law ohhh what a hottie! It's about this guy named Alfie (obviously) who dates a bunch of women, but never wants to commit to any of them. 50/50 on sadness and laughter, but worth it. Julie gave me a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure how nice!

Saturday Went to the mall to help my sister look for a dress for her friend's wedding. I also found a shirt. We went to SJBG last night and it was definitely cracking. We ACTUALLY got out of the house before 10. WOW a big accomplishment for us hahaha. It felt nice to be out a little earlier anyways just to check out the area. After Julie and I had a bad week we really didn't expect much of the night anyways, but figured why waste a night LOL. We both were REAL drunk when we left. I think I was still a little drunk when I woke up this morning and hung over as well geeze man. Thanks Julie and Felicia for taking care of me.

Sunday Recovering from drinking last night and had a sister day :) Spring Break officially starts tomorrow, but I've been partying since Thursday haha. Desperate housewives is on tonight!

I'm so glad spring break starts after this week, but for now I have to get cracking on studying for my two midterms on Wednesday and Thursday. My schedule seems to get more packed every week. It's funny because Bobby called today to ask what my week looked like and more than half the things I listed had to do with school. But somehow I learned how to manage my time all in one week, so that is quite impressive.

Friday

Homework, homework, and more homework. I was actually good and stayed home. I even surprised myself because usually I'll give into my friend's harassing me and go! I was a good girl :)

Saturday

I had breakfast with my parents. It felt really nice because I can't remember the last time we all went out together because everyone's schedule is so hectic. I finally had the time to go shopping, so of course I took full advantage of it. $50 or so later I had purchased a pair of jeans, a clubbing shirt, some earrings to match, and two other shirts. The jeans I bought are similar to the ones in the picture, but the shade is darker. For the rest of the night I went bar hopping and I wished I hadn't gone. First off, everyone ditched Julie and I. How is that possible when people came on our invite?? Then at the end of the night no one waited for us either. Well it's kinda hard to follow your friends to the car when your being harassed by a group of guys. To top that off we turn around only to find that our friends fucken left. I was totally pissed because we were told it was because "we were macking." Oh really? What part of get the hell away from me sounds like macking? That's news to me. Even if I had to stay an hour later after the bar let out I'd stay just to make sure my friends got home okay. Bitches.

Sunday

Gave myself the day off from everything. Finally my show is back!! Am I the only one who watches it???? Too bad tonight's episode was a damn rerun. Don't have the show for weeks and then show an old one. UGH. I'll update later this week.

Hours later

Why the fuck do people call and ask how things are, then say they have to get off in less than 5 minutes? If you know you can't stay on the phone that long, then call back later damnnn. Or why even call? Normally I wouldn't care, but that shit hella gets on my nerves. FUCK!

Wow. I think I might just be ready for bed already. It's like 3:30 PM. I'm waiting for my friend to get out of physical therapy, so we can go to the HRMA workshop. Good thing I started my program last night because now I can kick back and relax for just a SECOND!!!!!! Now, I have to work on my resume cause we have another job fair. Tomorrow night it's bar time and St. Patrick's Day.

Just finished getting ready to go to the bar and now I'm waiting on Julie. It's almost 11 and I'm gonna be hella mad if I took all this time to get ready and we're NOT going. I've had such a hectic week that all I've been looking forward to is going to the bar to relax and socialize with some friends. I have two midterms coming up. One is on Monday in my night class, which pisses me off because he posts his lecture notes online, but he never lectures about it in class or anything in the book?? To make it even worse he doesn't believe in review sheets. Hmmm, well do you believe in teaching then? Hahaha cause I know you ain't doing that. The other midterm is in my Tuesday class, which isn't bad. We had a review today, so I feel good about it. I just have to get reading. Being @ a university is sooo much different from a community college. The work load tends to be more. I'm taking 2 upper division and 2 elective classes and I'm having a hard time keeping up with the material. Sometimes I wonder if I should have even rushed getting through community college. I should really learn to make the best of what's in front of me instead of spending my time thinking about the what ifs. I feel like sometimes I'm the only one holding myself back from something better.

We had a job fair on Wednesday. I wouldn't say it was a success since most of the employers there were looking for people who were graduating this May and obviously I'm not one of them cause I got like another year and half to go. I found a few internships, but not sure if they'll work out. I mean I'm really just starting out in my major, so I guess I shouldn't feel discouraged because my experience will build as I go along. I'm just anxious to find an internship cause I want to do something new other than school. We have another job fair next week, which is for summer jobs, so I think my changes are higher there.
